Many definitions for the concept data visualisation have emerged from Scholars; however, a more appropriate definition for this exploration might be claimed by Engebretsen and Weber (2017), who argue that a data visualisation ‘is a visual representation of data created to amplify the cognitive processing and the social application of the data represented’ (p.278).
